Legend by Marie Lu

Warning: Spoilers

Wow. This book was very very very good. The world was so interesting. I really loved the characters and just like everything about it.

When Metias died I was really sad because I actually really liked his character and I wished we could have seen more of him. Okay we're going to skip to when June turned in Day. So at first I was really annoyed with her and I was on Day's side (obviously because we actually see Day's side of the story) but after reading it I realized that she thinks he killed her brother so of course she's going to turn him in. So yeah there was that. Oh and I think this would make a great great movie. Like the whole time I was like "Oh my god that would be awesome in a movie" and I really really want this book to become a movie like I've never actually read a book and thought "This would be a great movie" like I just never thought about that while reading books. But anyway the whole Metias's journal and the www.followmejunebug.com was awesome. I really loved it and Metias's entries on the website and how their parents accident wasn't really an accident and everythingggggg. It was just so good like this book was so interesting I really loved it. I really think this would make a great movie and I really hope they make it into a movie and I hopeeee they do not mess it up with bad actors and poor writing. Like this book has such great potential and wow I'm just so excited to read more. And Day and June I really like them. I honestly don't think they're cute. Like I like them together but 'cute' is not the right word for them. Awesome, now that's a good word. Because they are both so badass and ugh I really enjoyed this book. I ordered Prodigy and I'm really excited to continue with this story.

Obsidian by Jennifer L. Armentrout

Warning: Spoilers

Hi. So, this book was pretty good. I liked it. A lot. Katy was pretty cool. I don't think I've ever read a book with aliens so that was also pretty cool. Daemon was pretty cool. Dee was pretty cool. Lesa and Carissa were pretty cool. Ash was not pretty cool. Neither was Andrew. Adam was okay. That dude that took Katy to the dance was not pretty cool either. I don't remember his name. I know it started with an S though so that's good enough. He was a total poophead so why do I need to remember his name? This reviews gonna suck. Like my last few have. Because I'm annoying? Yeah, that's why. I'm so annoying. Okay this should not be about how annoying I am it should be about this book that was good. Ya know. Yeah. Daemon and Katy. How about dem. They were pretty nice. I liked them together. And when they kissed I was like FINALLY YES YES YES YES. I actually started freaking out 'cause I was like finalmente like finally. Just finally. Yeah. And then other stuff was cool. Except for when Daemon was like lol you barely glowing. That worked. Like no bud thats not why you kissed her. And you shouldn't have stopped. You're welcome. So this book was good. I'm gonna read Onyx soon. Yeah. Good. Daemon Black. Funtimes.

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone by J.K. Rowling

warning? spoilers? probably not cuz im really late to read this????

HEY GUYS! I READ HARRY POTTER! FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER! YEAH YOU PROBABLY THINK IM AN IDIOT FOR WAITING THIS LONG!! YEAH!!!! I KNOW!!!!!!!!!!!!! I SO LATE GUYS GUYS IM TERRIBLE!!! BUT IM SO HAPPY I FINALLY READ IT CUZ OBVI ITS PERF AND IM READING CHAMBER OF SECRETS CUZ YA KNOW I HAVE TO. IT'S HP MAN

So now it is time for my actual review lol whoops soz. So I obviously loved it. A lot. I saw the movies but I saw them when I was younger so I don't really remember them that much?? Well I remember Deathly Hallows parts 1 and 2 because I saw them recentlyish but I DO NOT REMEMBER SORCERER'S STONE EXCEPT FOR THE CREEPY GUY WITH A FACE ON THE BACK OF HIS HEAD. Yeah. I remember being terrified by that dude. And yeah. I remember the Dursley's and "Yer a wizard, Harry" from the movie. (Which is actually "Harry-yer a wizard." I was very disapointed that they changed the line in the movie like ?????? but whateves) But yeah I'm gonna go back to my review and start talking about the book. Okay Ron lol love him. I HAVE YO QUOTE THIS ONE PART OKAY? OKAY. IT WAS WHEN THEY WERE STUCK IN THE DEVIL'S SNARE

" 'Devil's Sanre, Devil's Snare . . . what did Professor Sprout say? -- it likes the dark and the damp --'
'So light it on fire!' Harry choked.
'Yes -- of course -- but there's no wood!' Hermione cried, wringing her hands.
'HAVE YOU GONE MAD?' Ron bellowed. 'ARE YOU A WITCH OR NOT?'
             'Oh, right!' said Hermione...

'Yeah,' said Ron, ' and lucky Harry doesn't lose his head in a crisis -- 'there's no wood,' honestly.' "

Yeah, so that was like my fave part because Ron is perf, guys. Okay and the Dursley's need to not. They just ew ugh stop hate you so much I can't. Okay, so yeah obviously I saw the movie and stuff and I remember the guy with Voldemort on the back of his head wasn't Snape but I didn't remember who it was exactly. And then when we find out it's Professor Quirell I'm like !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Whoa. I love Dumbledore so much guys guys guys guys guysssssss. And the Mirror of Erised. Love. But I'm so excite because I'm going to my friends house and she has all the Harry Potter movies so I'm gonna watch Sorcerer's Stone. So exciteeeeee. And then I'm gonna read more Chamber of Secrets 'cause Harry Potter. Obvi.

Update On Reading

So I started reading My Life Next Door by Huntley Fitzpatrick and it got like 100 pages in but I wasn't really liking it. It was okay. I liked the family parts of it but not the actual relationship. I don't know I just thought Samantha and Jase's relationship was boring and I didn't really feel anything for them. I thought Samantha was also a boring narrator. She wasn't exactly annoying but her voice didn't interest me. But, anyway, I'm now reading Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, guys. For the first time. I've never read Harry Potter and I am just so excited to read the rest of the series like ahhhhh.

So, yeah, that's just my little update.

The Selection by Kiera Cass

Warning: kind of spoileryish

Wow. I liked this book way more than I expected to. I really love Maxon. Like a lot. I loveeeeee him. I am so Team Maxon. He's just so sweet and adorable. I was so mad when Aspen became a guard at the palace ughhhhh stay away Aspen. He's so annoying. I really don't feel like he actually likes her. Let alone loves her.

I really liked this book though. I thought all of the parts with Maxon were extremely cutesy and I loved it so much. I really love Maxon, guys. Ahh but I'm so scared I'm gonna be really annoyed with The Elite because Aspen's now a guard so he's gonna be there for the whole book instead of just the end and agh that's why I don't like love triangles at allll. And this review is gonna be really short because I read this book 4 days ago so yeah I loved it though.

Blood Promise (Vampire Academy #4) by Richelle Mead

WARNING: SPOILERS. AGAIN, IF YOU HAVE NOT READ BLOOD PROMISE  OR ANY VAMPIRE ACADEMY BOOK PLEASE DO NOT READ THIS REVIEW!!!!!

Richelle Mead!!!!!!!!!! You are one of my favorite authors!!! And the Vampire Academy series is officially my favorite. Ahhhhhhhhh. Okay, so 1) Dimitri 2) Abe and 3) The Belikovs. So first let's talk about Dimitri. At the beginning of the book I was obviously sad and I cried a lot. Especially when Rose told the Belikovs what happened to Dimitri. Fast forward to when she found Strigoi Dimitri, holy guacamole. Wow, okay. I didn't imagine Strigoi Dimitri to look anything like dhampir Dimitri at all. Obviously he would look a bit different, red rimmed eyes, pale skin and fangs but he just acted so different that I couldn't help but imagine him differently. I really did not like Strigoi Dimitri at all and I would get really sad because I would miss dhampir Dimitri so flipping much. When he drank her blood and stuff I was like, nooooo Roseeee stooooooop letttttting hiiiim driiiiiiink yooouuuurrrr bloooooood.

OKAY CAN WE PLEASE TALK ABOUT ABE BEING ROSE'S DAD HOLY GUACAMOLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I LOVED THAT SO MUCH AND I REALY FELT SOMETHING FOR ABE BEFORE SHE LEFT AND THEN WHEN I FOUND OUT HE WAS HER DAD AHHH THE FEELS!!1 I'M SO EXCITED FOR MORE ABE ADFIKLOJADSFLKJL

Okay, yeah so loved this book so flipping much and I'm continuing this review like a week after I read it, sooooooo not that fresh in my mind anymore.

Shadow Kiss (Vampire Academy #3) by Richelle Mead

WARNING: REALLY BAD SPOILERS DO NOT READ IF YOU HAVE NOT READ SHADOW KISS OR ANY OF THE VAMPIRE ACADEMY BOOKS!!!!!!! I GOT SPOILED WHAT HAPPENED AND IM SUPER ANGRY SO DO NOT READ ON!!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!!

Guys. I can't. I finished this book yesterday and I cried a lot. Dimitri. How could you do that to me Richelle? Flip man. I'm getting really sad just writing this review. Rose. I'm so sorry. Why?? Why? Why?! Okay, I'm getting really sad and I'm tearing up and my heart hurts and I can't. After I finished Shadow Kiss I went and bought Blood Promise right away and I am currently reading it. Okay, I'm gonna calm down a bit before I keep writing this review.

I'm back. Haha I took a long time to come back to writing this. Like 4 hours maybe? But half a second for you. Okay so this book was amazing and I can't express how much I love it and how right people are about books 1 and 2 being not as good as books 3-6. Well, I still haven't like read books 4-6 but I'm reading book 4 now but ya know what I mean. Okay but Eddie was great. I really started to like him in this book. I never disliked him but we never saw that much of him so I couldn't like say I liked him a lot, you know? Well, he was great and I was so sad whenever Rose brought up Mason and he got really sad and when Lissa suggested Eddie ask out Rose and Eddie said he would never ask out Mason's girlfriend. Awwy Eddie. I really like Eddie. CAN WE TALK ABOUT THE FACT THAT ROSE HAD TO BE CHRISTIAN'S GUARDIAN FOR THE FIELD EXPERIENCE. TWAS GREAT. I was like reading this in homeroom, I think, and I read that part and I was like OH MY GOD THAT'S PERFECT! I started smiling because I didn't even think about Rose being Christian's guardian. Rose and Christian are such a brotp. OMG ROMITRI DID IT. AHHHHHHH SO SAD THOUGH BECAUSE DIMITRI STOP IM GONNA START CRYING AGAIN AHHHHH RICHELLE WHY ARE YOU SO MEAN TO ME!!!!!!!???? But like I got spoiled what was gonna happen. I was on the vampire academy tumblr tag and I was just scrolling through looking at movie pics and stuff and then boom someones like "my friend is reading shadow kiss and she was like "omg i was so scared dimitri was gonna turn strigoi but he didnt" hahaha you're wrong" like no warning whatsoever like you couldnt have just written at the top SHADOW KISS SPOILERS. I don't even think I was done reading Frostbite yet. Whatever it was so sad though. I was reading it after a math quiz and like Strigoi started attacking and stuff and I was about to cry because I knew what was gonna happen so I had to close the book so I wouldn't start crying in math but then I kept reading and stuff and then when I got home I finished the book and cried for eternity.

Next morning:
So I just had a dream about Rose and Dimitri and I cried. Dude this book is having such an effect on me like I can't even believe this. Okay, I don't know, this book was great, though, so that's all. I'm sad so I'm just gonna finish the review.

Panic by Lauren Oliver

WARNING: SPOILERS (kind of)

This book was really good. It wasn't exactly great because the ending was a bit unsatisfying, but the rest of the book was really good. The challenges were really intense and I really liked that about the book. I didn't really like Nat. Like at all. And also at first I did want Bishop and Heather to end up together but I just expected Heather and Dodge because they were the narrators and usually that's how it works but I liked the idea of two different love stories and Lauren Oliver kind of changed it up a bit with making the narrators not end up together. But for some reason I started to want Heather and Dodge to end up together probably because I really did not like Dodge and Nat, mostly because I didn't like Nat. It was a good book, though and I really enjoyed it. I finished it pretty quickly. Oh and I loved Anne so much she was so sweet to Heather and Lily and I really loved her. Oh my God, though, when Nat took the keys from the car that Dodge hid a bomb in and then gave the keys to Heather so she could drive it, I was dying. I was like hjasbfajsdksjdhnjasdhjkf NAT I HATE YOU. I mean, I know she didn't know there was a bomb thingy in it but ugh I still just don't like Nat. Like when she said she would split fifty-fifty with Heather and then manipulates Dodge to split fifty-fifty. She's so annoying. I really don't like her. Okay, on to Bishop. I liked him a lot at first but the more I read the book, the more I started to not really like him. I think it might have been because I started to want Heather with Dodge. I don't know. But I kind of guessed Bishop was a judge like a few chapters because we actually found out. I don't know what else to say, but, yeah, it was a really good book.

Ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. I hate this book. I hate Holden. That's all I have to say. Kind of. Holden just annoyed me so much. He said phony way too much and ugh I just didn't like him. Sorry I don't feel like writing a long review because I read this book for school and we had to write journal entries for every chapter and ugh I've already written so much about it and yeah sorry I hated this book.

Frostbite (Vampire Academy #2) by Richelle Mead

WARNING: SPOILERS

Oh, my god. This book was so good and I am so excited to read the rest of the series! Love, love, love, love, love, love this book so much. Dimitri and Rose <3 ugh so perfect. I love them and I love Dimitri. I think I'm starting to like Dimitri more than Christian because you see more of Dimitri obviously but he's so adorable. I really loved Christian in this book, though. Like, at the end when they were escaping from the basement and he liked burned the plastic off Rose's wrists and stuff and heated up the gun one of the guards was holding. Love him. And Mia! Oh, my god Mia. She was great, I liked her in this book and when she used her water powers to suffocate Isaiah, that was awesome. And I genuinely felt bad for her when her mom died. But Mason. Mason. Mason. Noooooooo whyyyyy?!?!?! I'm super annoyed though because his death got spoiled for me and I was like NOOOOOOOOO. But his death was really sad and :(((((((((((((((((((((((((.  I don't have much to say because it was a sequel and stuff but oh yeah I remember some stuff I can talk about, okay. So, Tasha is cool and stuff but ugh I didn't like her when she was with Dimitri like stop trying to steal Rose's man and when Tasha wanted Dimitri to be her guardian and then they can have kids together??? Stop. Stop. But otherwise she was pretty cool. I was so happy, though, when Dimtri told Rose he said no to Tasha like ahhhhhhhhhhhh :DDDDDDDDDD <----- that's how happy I was.

City of Bones by Cassandra Clare (re-read)

WARNING: SPOILERS

So, this was my second time reading City of Bones. I read it two years ago and didn't continue on with the series and now I want to read the series so I decided to re-read it so I can read the rest of the series. I definitely liked it better the second time around. I don't know why. I think it might be because I took so long to read it and I might have had other books on my mind. But I did like it better this time. I really love Jace and Clary and I know, I know, it's really weird now because they're brother and sister but ugh I love them. I mean I don't really know what to say because a lot of things happened in the book so I don't know what things to focus on. Oh, I love Luke and I was like crying when Valentine almost killed him I was so scared because I didn't really remember what happened but Luke and Clary are such a brotp. I love Jace and I think he's awesome except for when he was really annoying when he found out Valentine is his father and he was acting all calm, I guess, and just not like himself. But I really, really, love Jace and Clary and this is probably the first time where I like  who she ends up with in a love triangle. I usually have to know who she ends up with before I read it because then I fall in love with the other guy and hate the books. Which is really stupid because I shouldn't just like a book because of the romance but I think that's a pretty big part in the books and if it's there then it's just going to annoy me throughout the series. I really liked the book though and I am going to read City of Ashes soon but after I read Frostbite by Richelle Mead because if I read CoA before Frostbite I won't pay attention to it.

Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead Review

WARNING: SPOILERS

kafbaubfuidfikashdkaf. Okay guys. I. Love. This. Book. So. Much. This book was amazing. I am so excited to get Frostbite. This book was so good and I finished it pretty quickly. Okay so I am in love with Christian and I know everyone is in love with Dimitri and stuff but ugh Christian. Don't get me wrong I love Dimitri too but Christian. But it also scares me so much that no one is in love with Christian, like, I'm really scared he's gonna end up being bad or something like fuhadufgua. Okay but this book was sooooooooooooOOOOOOO good. I love this book so much and ahhhhh I can't wait to read the rest of the series. Especially since people say the first and second books aren't that good compared to books 3-6. Like, how? I really loved Rose and Dimitri's relationship. But it's so hard to say what I love about this book because I just love everything and I can't pinpoint some things. Well, there was this one part with Rose and Christian and for some reason I thought this one line was hilarious even though it's probably been used so many times before. It was this part

"Christian spun around to face me, hands stuffed in the pockets of his long black coat, his posture slumped and uncaring.
              "Yeah?"
"Thanks for the books." He didn't say anything. "The ones you gave to Mason."
"Oh, I thought you meant the other books.""

Okay, so literally I don't know why I found his line so funny but I just smiled so much when I read, probably because I'm in love with him. But seriously it's always hard for me to write reviews for books I love because I don't know how else to say I love it. But really I love this book so much. But I can't believe Natilie became a Strigoi for her father. That's terrible. I actually feel really bad for her because she just wanted her dad to pay attention to her so now she becomes a Strigoi. And Victor, ugh I was like noooooooo because I liked him and I was like aw why does he have to be sick and then he became annoying. Stop. But I really love this book and go buy it and read it, okay? Okay.

Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs Review

WARNING: KIND OF SPOILERY

So this book was not that great. I really don't understand why so many people loved it and thought it was amazing. I thought it was okay, really. Some parts were boring and some parts were kind of intense but not really. Jacob was kind of annoying and I didn't like him that much. I don't have that much to say about this book because there really isn't much to say. I found it so annoying that he ended up staying with the peculiars instead of going back home because I couldn't relate to that at all. I just thought it was so stupid that he would leave his family for some people he just met like a month ago. I mean, I knew it was going to happen because 1. there's a sequel and 2. it would be stupid to write this whole book and make him not stay with them. But it would be so much more realistic even though this book isn't really supposed to be realistic. But I thought Jacob was really selfish because he just leaves his dad and his dad doesn't even realize, like, he thinks everything Jacob is telling him is in a dream so when he wakes up he's just gonna find his son is gone. How terrible is that? That's such a horrible thing to do to your parents. There were some parts I did like but I did not like it that much and I don't remember really what parts I liked.

Split Second (Pivot Point #2) by Kasie West Review

WARNING: SPOILERS

Dear Lord, help me. This book. Oh, this book. This freaking book. I am in love. I love this book. It was even better than Pivot Point. At least I think so. I read Pivot Point a year ago so I don't remember it all that well but I really do think Split Second was better. I really liked the fact that we alternated between Addie's and Laila's point of view. This book was so good and I loved the ending so much and I cried and laughed and gasped and got angry at certain characters and had feels because of Trevor and Addie, and Laila and Connor. But her grandfather. Addie's grandfather. Those parts killed me. Killed me. First, when she found out he was alive. I started tearing up because of how she felt and Kasie West, wow. Just, wow. I felt what Addie was going through at the moment and it was extrememly emotional. But then when we found out he was actually a Perceiver who was pretending to be her grandfather. Oh, my god. I was so sad. I loved that she had someone to go to and how he was a little coocoo in the head. And hated how he was brought back into her life but then ripped away from her so quickly. I really loved this book. I loved all the characters. Expect for the obvious ones that you're supposed to hate. I loved Laila, Connor, Addie, Trevor, and Eli and it was just an amazing book. I don't know if there's going to be a third book but I kind of hope there is. But I don't really know what Kasie West will do with it. I'm not sure if it was obvious or not, but I kind of want another book because I want to know about Bobby and see Addie's life in the Norm world now and see Trevor finally fall in love with her. Oh totally forgot to mention this part but when she got her memories back of the Norm world from her Search and fell in love with Trevor again. That was amazing. And when she finally realized why she decided to stay in the Compound was because Laila died in the Norm world before. But seriously when she told Trevor everything and told him about her Search and how she knows him but he doesn't know her. Emotions. They were everywhere. Those parts were so sad when she would almost start crying because of how much she loves Trevor but that he doesn't love her or know her yet. Kasie West really is phenomenal. I stayed up until 12:30 AM reading. And I know that isn't that late but I go to sleep pretty early, so it's late for me.

Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi Review

WARNING: SPOILERS

Hello, everyone! So, this is obviously my first review and sadly I did not like this book very much. It was okay. I liked it at the beginning and I thought that the writing style was unique, but only at first. After a while it got annoying and I thought Tahereh Mafi was trying way too hard to be "poetic" and "lyrical" but ugh I hated it so much. And Juliette? God, she was annoying. She makes me want to vomit. I liked Juliette and Adam together at first but oh, my god everything really got annoying after a while. Like, I was in love with this book at first and I thought I was gonna be obsessed and have to buy the second book right away but gah I really did not like this book. Okay, I really hate the fact that almost every guy in the book was like in love with Juliette. I really hate that, especially since she hated herself and all these guys were fawning over her while she was just moping  about how she wishes she was dead. I kind of like Warner? Like, not really but kind of. Oh, my god can we please talk about the fact that Juliette felt "an electric charge" that she "hadn't anticipated" between her and Warner. Oh, god that was the most annoying thing ever like he just told you your boyfriend was dead and now you decide to fall in love with him. And when she "never realized before just how attractive his voice is." Shoot me now. That is what I call desperate. She loses one guy and automatically kind of falls for another. I really despise Juliette. So overall this book was irritating. I didn't like the character and I didn't like the "unique" writing style but the one thing I did like was the story. Sorry if you liked this book but honestly I really didn't.
